BRIEF Convenes the System of Care in Essex County, NY                       

BRIEF (Building Resilience in Essex Families) is not a Provider, it is Essex County’s System of Care dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children, families, and community members across the lifespan. Our mission is to promote a proactive system of care through education, empowerment, resilience-building, and stigma reduction. We bring together schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, local government, and residents to identify needs, strengthen partnerships, and improve access to resources and support. 

BRIEF provides evidence-based trainings, coordinates community initiatives, and develops projects that increase protective factors and strengthen social connections throughout Essex County. Together, we work toward a vision where all individuals and families have the opportunity to thrive, build resilience, and achieve wellness.
